Time to talk...

“AT MULLIE we are aware that in some areas the market slowed prior to the general election, as people delayed their decisions to buy and sell until they knew who would be in government. However, interestingly, this wasn’t apparent on our patch in Twyford and the surrounding areas.

“Since November last year, the market has been extremely buoyant, with demand far outstripping supply and inevitably pushing up prices. This seller’s market is certainly bolstered by London buyers moving out of the City, tempted by the exciting prospect of Crossrail [a station opens in Twyford in 2019].

“What is very exciting is that since the new government has been elected, we are already seeing signs of increased activity in the top end of the market, which has been the slowest sector in recent months.

“With the security of the new government, low interest rates and a return to optimism, the market is unlikely to slow down any time soon. With this in mind, Mullie Ltd continues to employ new staff and the team keeps growing!

“We are a unique, privately owned family–run estate agency, offering a fresh, affordable approach to selling and/or letting your most valuable asset. Our honesty, integrity and good old–fashioned hard work coupled with state–of–the–art marketing technology and innovative in–house systems (such as virtual viewings and initial feed–back forms) has seen a young company grow very quickly to become a leading local estate agent.

“Our business is based on common sense and common courtesy. We combine traditional and modern approaches, striving to put the joy back in to buying and selling your home by removing the irrelevant and focusing on first–class marketing and a smooth transition from offer to completion.”
