PLANS to move Nettlebed post office will be discussed at a public meeting on Monday.

The Post Office wants to move the branch from the church hall in High Street to a counter at the BP petrol station in Port Hill.

It would be open daily from 6am to 10pm, more than double the current opening hours.

The meeting will be held at the Nettlebed Club, starting at 6.30pm. Postmistress Melanie Bullock and Barbara Lewis, who chairs Nettlebed Parish Council, will attend to answer any questions.

The consultation closes on August 27. Send feedback to: Freepost Your Comments, Post Office, or call 0845 722 3344, or email comments@postoffice.co.uk
