Marketing agency moves in

A DESIGN and marketing agency has relocated to Watlington.

Blooberry Design has moved from Chinnor into Watcombe Manor because it needed bigger premises.

The agency was started four years ago by friends Tracey Staskevich and Yvonne Dean, who had previously worked together for an agency.

Mrs Staskevich, who is creative director, said the decision was prompted by her being made redundant as her husband was recovering from cancer.

Mrs Dean, who is production director, said: “It wasn’t easy. We tried to get funding for the equipment we needed but drew a complete blank. Instead, we pooled our own limited resources.”

Blooberry now has a team of 10 and was responsible for the Shout Out About Bladder Cancer campaign.

Mrs Staskevich added: “We were overjoyed to be chosen for the awareness campaign because it meant so much for me personally. You can’t imagine how delighted we were when the campaign was picked up not only by the BBC but also in a special feature on Lorraine Kelly’s morning ITV show.”
