STAFF at the Reading branch of Savills donned festive pinnies and Christmas jumpers to raise £2,000 for local charity Helen & Douglas House.

A hundred pounds, raised by staff paying to wear their Christmas jumpers to work, contributed to the final total.

Phil Brown of Savills in Reading said: “Our planning, development and estates teams all raised the bar with their outfits once again. A great effort! We are delighted to have been able to support Helen & Douglas House throughout 2015.”

A registered hospice charity, Helen & Douglas House provides palliative, respite, end-of-life and bereavement care to life-limited children, young adults and their families.
