ABOUT 100 people attended the launch of the second book capturing Henley’s diversity in photographs.
The 100 Faces of Henley: Volume 2 was unveiled at Henley town hall on Monday evening.
The 226-page, full-colour commemorative book features faces of people from around the town with a short biography on each one. The subjects include town sergeant Cliff Austin, musician Mike Rowbottom, town clerk Mike Kennedy and Angel on the Bridge landlord Mark Dunlop.
The money raised from sales of the book will go to the Face of Henley charity, which helps individuals and charities in the area. The first volume, published in 2012, raised more than £17,000. Trustee Richard Reed said: “We had 800 copies printed. If we sell every one that’s £16,000.”
Mr Reed and photographer Charlotte Snowden took all the images.
The book costs £20 and is available at the Bell Bookshop, Waitrose and W H Smith in Henley.
