TWO members at Kidmore End Cricket Club have set up a cricket equipment business.

Brothers Jeff and Tom Sheldon run Reaper Cricket in their spare time.

They make bespoke cricket bats as well as supplying other equipment.

Jeff, 39, is a full-time salesman while Tom, 34, is a groundsman at Leighton Park School in Reading.

They have played for Kidmore End since they were youngsters and their father John was chairman of the club for 35 years.

Jeff said: “We’ve just bought a van that we’re kitting out with our bat-making equipment and we plan to visit local clubs and make bats for people.”
