AFTER opening local estate agency Beville 14 years ago, owner Richard Beville says he’s been sharing his experience, giving something back to the community and helping a youngster into a fulfilling career — by taking on an apprentice.
Reading-born Marcus Witt, 18, is proving to be a great asset at the Sonning Common-based estate agency, where colleagues have found him to be very energetic, enthusiastic, extremely IT-literate, and keen to learn all aspects of the business.
Richard said: “I was contacted by an agency looking for apprenticeship placements. I interviewed Marcus and was immediately impressed by his mature manner and attitude. Hopefully he can learn a great deal from the business as well as contributing to the agency’s overall development.”
Marcus said: “Having been dropped in at the deep end, although enjoyable, it has come as a bit of a surprise how much work there is to do to once an offer has been received, before a successful completion.”
