Broadband talks delay

A MEETING about superfast broadband in Crazies Hill was postponed after a guest speaker pulled out.

A MEETING about superfast broadband in Crazies Hill was postponed after a guest speaker pulled out.

Representatives from Superfast Berkshire and BT were due to attend the meeting at the village hall on Wednesday but a representative from the former was forced to cancel after suffering a bicycle accident.

Crazies Hill and Cockpole Green Residents’ Association has decided to reschedule the meeting for mid-March.

Villagers are unhappy that they will not be covered by the rollout of broadband across the county.

The Superfast Berkshire programme includes neighbouring Wargrave but does not to continue on to Crazies Hill, despite residents currently having to endure broadband speeds of as little as 2Mbps.
