New team at Savills

SAVILLS has launched a dedicated sports services team, which will offer a confidential property service to the professional

SAVILLS has launched a dedicated sports services team, which will offer a confidential property service to the professional sporting elite, who seek discretion, exclusivity and a tailor-made service.

The newly-formed team, which is being led by Ian Camplin, Stephen O’Kane and Trevor Kearney, will  co-ordinate and manage all property requirements covering UK and international sales and lettings, residential development, interior services, financing, commercial property and auctions.

Said to be the first of its kind in the property industry, Savills Sports Services will build on Savills’ track record with sports professionals and continue to provide a discreet service, ensuring all discussions are confidential and free from hassle and unwanted attention.

Trevor Kearney, director, said: “A dedicated and bespoke service for global sports professionals was missing in the market place.

“Given Savills’ wealth of experience with high profile sports clients and their agents, our new team will be perfectly placed to secure family homes, overseas properties and real estate investments that form part of wider portfolios on behalf of high profile sports professionals globally.”

Savills currently have two houses in Henley that meet the sporting brief. Both are in the picturesque Lambridge Wood, which offers plenty of trails for running. Both properties are walkable to central Henley which is of course known for its water sports.

Greenacres, with a guide price of £4,450,000, has a gym and indoor pool complex as well as an outdoor hard tennis court, all set in 1.9 acres, which leaves plenty of scope for sporting additions.

Meanwhile, Beechwood, with a guide price of £4,750,000, has an outdoor swimming pool as well as eight acres of land.
