The Station House closes temporarily

A HENLEY pub has closed down temporarily

A HENLEY pub has closed down temporarily.

The Station House in Market Place, has not been open to the public for more than a week.

A spokeswoman for owners Brakspear said the closure was for “personal reasons” but it was hoped to re-open the pub as soon as possible.

The pub – formerly the Henley Brew House – was bought by Brakspear in October 2014 and renamed to mark the building’s former use as a police station.

Christian Evans took over as the landlord and was joined by Daniel Anderson as head chef. Mr Evans worked in hospitality in London for 11 years.
