Open house event will float your boat

OPEN house days have always been a good way for an estate agent to showcase unique

OPEN house days have always been a good way for an estate agent to showcase unique properties where there is likely to be a lot of interest from buyers.

Tomorrow (Saturday) estate agency Philip Booth Esq will be conducting an open viewing on a two-bedroom riverside apartment in River Terrace, central Henley.

But that’s not all — in addition to being able to view the apartment, the innovative estate agency has teamed up with Henley Sales & Charter to provide a free river boat trip from the moorings just across the road.

“The idea is that buyers viewing the property will be able to experience and enjoy at first hand the river lifestyle with a trip on the river,” said Philip Booth.

“The boat HS&C will be using is a very pretty 40ft Victorian gentleman’s weekend electric cabin launch called Golden Butterfly — and as with the apartment, viewers will also be able to buy the boat!”

As well as having a unique position on the riverside, the apartment, which is minutes from Henley’s shops and train station, has a private westerly facing walled rear garden.

The Garden Flat, 6 River Terrace, Henley, has a guide price of £485,000. For more information, call Phil Booth on 07795 422284.

Golden Butterfly is being offered by HS&C at £49,500 for a quick sale. Call Gillian on (01491) 578870.

Philip Booth Esq will once again be exhibiting at the Henley House & Garden Show, which takes place over the weekend of March 12 and 13. Come and find Philip at his stall inside the town hall.
