Get your boots on for Midsomer walks

A NEW walking tour has been launched celebrating Henley’s Midsomer Murders connections

A NEW walking tour has been launched celebrating Henley’s Midsomer Murders connections.

It has been developed by Henley Hosts, a group of guides and enthusiasts who will deliver tours every Saturday from March to October.

It is to meet the growing demand from fans of the ITV crime drama series visiting the area from round the world.

The tour was officially launched by the Mayor Lorraine Hillier at the Argyll pub in Market Place, which was used as a filming location for the episode Last Year’s Model and where each tour will start.

Co-ordinator Sarah Osborne said “I’ve been working with Henley Town Council and local businesses to increase the economic value of Henley’s Midsomer Murders connections.

“We began with a self-guide printed trail but with growing numbers of enquiries, we felt that the personal touch of knowledgeable local people would provide a more memorable visitor experience.”
