River plugs

BANNERS could be put up along the River Thames in Henley to promote events to visitors.

BANNERS could be put up along the River Thames in Henley to promote events to visitors.

Each one would be 1.5m wide on a 6m tall pole and be changed regularly. Suggested locations include the New Street slipway, Singers Park, the obelisk, the bandstand in Mill Meadows and the River and Rowing Museum jetty.

They would cost a total of almost £4,000 and be subject to planning permission.
