A NEW beer has been brewed by Brakspear to raise funds for Sue Ryder.

The Henley brewery and pub management company created Incredible, a 3.8 per cent amber ale, which will be available at its pubs until the end of the year. For every pint sold, Brakspear will donate 10p to the charity.

Brakspear began a charity partnership with Sue Ryder last year and has since held quiz nights and music evenings, raising more than £8,000 for the charity.

Brakspear chief executive Tom Davies said: “We’re delighted to be supporting our pubs with Incredible. It’s an easy-drinking ale that will appeal to customers across all our pubs and we expect many of them to stock it, perhaps to coincide with a Sue Ryder event.”

Incredible will be sold at the Angel on the Bridge in Thames Side, the Three Horseshoes in Reading Road, the Bull in Wargrave and the Hare and Hounds in Sonning Common.
