A HENLEY web design company has been honoured in the UK Blog Awards.
Ri Web won the digital and technology category and was also highly commended for its work within the public relations, media, marketing and communications category.
The Ri Web blog was one of 2,000 entries to the awards, which were voted for by the public before 10 finalists in each category were reviewed by expert judges.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in London on Friday attended by more than 700 people.
Ri Web director Ryan Irving said: “I’m absolutely delighted - with the other brands, including the Royal Mint, Ticketmaster and Cancer Research, I didn’t think we stood a chance!
“It is testament to what can be achieved through digital marketing that a small company from Henley can not only mix with such big names but actually win.
“This is what our blog is all about too, inspiring small businesses to realise what can be achieved through digital marketing and educating them to succeed with it.
“I’m thrilled that all the hard work that each member of the team puts into everything they do has been rewarded. Without them, we couldn’t have won such a prestigious award.”
Ri Web editor Henry McIntosh added: “The blog started as a way to help small businesses and drive relevant traffic to our site.
“Not only have we achieved that but now we’ve been acknowledged for our work, which is fantastic.
“The quality of the blog and the service it provides our audience is simply an extension of the whole Ri Web ethos.”
