Justin Webb, presenter of Radio 4’s Today programme, spoke to 240 people at a lunch at Phyllis Court Club in Henley organised by the business group Thames Valley First.

Group chairman Giles Blagden welcomed members and guests before incoming chairman introduced the speaker. Mr Blagden, managing director of Reading chartered surveyors Hicks Baker, said: “Justin’s indepth knowledge of the US election process, combined with his amusing anecdotes of interviews with presidents past and potential, kept the packed room engrossed.”
