TWO taster days will be held at Henley’s River and Rowing Museum for a funded traineeship.

The museum, in partnership with the British Museum Learning Museum programme, is offering a one year, fully funded traineeship for an individual aged 18 to 24 to develop skills in museum work.

The days will be held tomorrow (Tuesday 21 June) and on Saturday between noon and 4pm.

Guests will be able to meet the team, see behind the scenes, try out hands-on object activities and find out more about applying for the traineeship.

The programme is for people who may not have considered a career in museums and who do not have an undergraduate degree or work experience in museums.

Travel costs will be covered and refreshments provided. To find out more and sign up, call Helen on (01491) 415607 or email helen.cook@rrm.co.uk
