AN open garden at Wargrave Court raised more than £1,400 for the Red Cross.

AN open garden at Wargrave Court raised more than £1,400 for the Red Cross.

More than 200 people visited the gardens of the grade II listed Tudor house off Station Road, Wargrave, on Sunday.

Families basked in sunshine and enjoyed picnics on the lawn, while more than 20 musicians played compositions by Mozart, Gershwin and Strauss.

Volunteers also sold homemade cakes and refreshment to visitors.
