A HENLEY businessman will tackle a 100-mile charity bike ride on Sunday.

Phil Chappell, who runs GPC Marketing with his wife Gillian, will cycle from the Olympic Park in London through the capital and into Surrey before returning to finish on The Mall.

He will be one of the riders taking part in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey.

Mr Chappell is raising money for the Epilepsy Society after his youngest son Andy was diagnosed with the condition last year.

He said: “I’m hoping to complete the ride in around six hours. That would be cycling at 16.7mph, so if anyone wants to add a little incentive for me that would be great!”
