WOMEN’S tennis tournament held on courts in and around Goring raised £2,415 for Cancer Research UK.

A total of 120 women of all ages and abilities took part in the doubles event, which culminated in a series of matches at Moulsford Manor.

Annabel Wilson, of Icknield Road, and her partner Annabel Bosher won the final against Surita De Mulder, from Caversham, and Hayley Underwood.

Pierreponts café provided lunch while the Garden Room florists, Albert Fields hair salon, Virgo Beauty, the Goring Grocer and the Miller of Mansfield gave raffle prizes.
