Charity comedy show

A CHARITY performance of The Three Musketeers will take place at the Kenton Theatre in Henley

A CHARITY performance of The Three Musketeers will take place at the Kenton Theatre in Henley next month.

The show, which stars Peter Duncan, is a comedy set in 1942 when the ill-famed theatre impresario Aubrey Everett is touring the country with his own version of The Three Musketeers.

It is written and directed by Ian McFarlane and the team who staged  Jack and the Beanstalk at the New Street theatre last Christmas.

The performance on September 3 at 2.30pm will be in aid of the Chiltern Centre for disabled children, off Greys Road, Henley.

For each £25 ticket sold £10 will be donated to the charity as long as the purchaser quotes a special code.

Oli Seadon, who is producing the show, said: “We are delighted to support the Chiltern Centre and the brilliant work that it does for disabled children and their families.

“By donating £10 for every ticket sold to its supporters, we hope to help the centre continue this work.

“We will give you a great evening out as it promises to be a fantastically funny show.”

The Three Musketeers is on an extended run at the Kenton which ends on September 17.

To book for September 3, call (01491) 575698 and quote the code “TTMCHILTERN” or visit www.kentontheatre.co.uk
