A CHARITY cycle challenge at The Cabin Pre-School in Woodcote raised almost £600.

About 25 youngsters brought in their bicycles, tricycles and scooters and rode sponsored laps of the playground at Woodcote Primary School in Reading Road, where the pre-school is based.

The proceeds went to Little Hearts Matter, a charity for youngsters who only have half a working heart, as a boy who left this summer has the condition.

Manager Jayne Cole said: “It was a lovely day and really good fun.”
