A raffle draw was held in Henley as a teenager reached her fund-raising target for a charity trek. Caitlin Stevenson, 15, has raised £2,097 to fund her World Challenge Trip with Gillotts School next summer. The trip to Morocco was partly paid for with about £450 sales of raffle tickets. Town councillor Lorraine Hillier helped draw prizes at her Hot Gossip coffee house in Friday Street. Caitlin, from Binfield Heath, raised the rest of the money through a sponsored walk and donations. Her mother Debbie Stevenson said: “I want to say a huge thank you to Davy Snowden, of Pristine Condition in Northfild End because he has been so helpful to Caitlin by donating £1,000.” The two-week trip will involving camping in the Atlas mountains, painting classrooms and installing water pumps. Caitlin said: “It looks like it will be a great experience and will help to benefit the people there.”

Mr and Mrs Stevenson and Caitlin thanked local businesses for donating prizes for the raffle.
