Sale of old curiosities

A CURIOSITY trail will be held in Tokers Green to raise money for a defibrillator for the village.

A CURIOSITY trail will be held in Tokers Green to raise money for a defibrillator for the village.

It will take place outside homes around the village next Sunday (September 18) from 2pm to 5pm.

Residents are trying to raise £1,500 for the life-saving device.

Villager Gill Beale said: “There will be 15 to 20 tables around the village selling bric-a-brac, clothes, gardening bits and home produce. There will be a refreshment tent with drinks and homemade cakes in Roseberry Road.

“We will provide maps to show where the tables are. The aim is to encourage local people and visitors to buy our curiosities.”
