TWELVE women will row 125 miles along the Thames this weekend to raise money for charity.

The crew from Shiplake Outloars depart from Lechlade tomorrow (Friday) and hope to finish in Teddington on Sunday.

They are raising money for the Rivertime Boat Trust, which funds a specially-adapted boat called Rivertime which is used for trips for children and adults with special needs.

Each member of the crew will row for about nine hours each day.

During the challenge they will pass through 44 locks, passing through Henley on Saturday afternoon.
