Pupils and parents at Hemdean House School in Caversham raised £270 at a coffee morning held

Pupils and parents at Hemdean House School in Caversham raised £270 at a coffee morning held in the home economics block, which the children helped to decorate with bunting and flowers. More than 100 people attended and the end of the day, leftover cakes were sold to passers-by at the school’s entrance in Hemdean Road. Organiser Cathy Barnes said: “It was very successful. People were very positive about it and everyone had a great time, especially the children.”
