Sign up now for Over 60s Christmas lunch

A CHRISTMAS lunch for the over-60s from the Gainsborough estate in Henley will be held at the Catherine Wheel pub in Hart Street on December 8 from 1pm.

A CHRISTMAS lunch for the over-60s from the Gainsborough estate in Henley will be held at the Catherine Wheel pub in Hart Street on December 8 from 1pm.

It is being organised and paid for by the Gainsborough Residents’ Association with additional funding from housing association Soha.

Guests will be served a two-course meal with a drink and hampers will be given out as prizes.

There are 40 places available on a first come/first served basis. Residents of the estate or The Close are being urged to either book themselves a place or to nominate a neighbour or friend to come along. Carers can also attend if they are needed the association will organise transport for anyone who needs it.

Representatives of the 60+ Club, Soha and Henley Town Council will be present to talk to residents about support they can receive.
