HENLEY Lions Club is running a winter fuel campaign aimed at the better-off.
It wants pensioners who can afford it to donate their winter fuel allowance, a Government subsidy of between £100 and £300, to someone who needs it more.
The allowance is paid automatically to anyone born before May 5, 1953.
Donations will be given to Henley Citizens Advice in partnership with the Nomad youth and community project, to help a family or individual in need.
The project will be launched at the d:two centre in Market Place, Henley, on November 9.
