Beacon Festival tickets go on sale

TICKETS have gone on sale for a family music festival to be held in Watlington.

The three-day Beacon Festival will take place at Watlington Hill Farm during the summer solstice.

Organiser Lindsay Howard-Dean planned to stage the inaugural festival at her farm in June last year but had to postpone it due to poor weather.

This year’s festival, from June 20 to 22, will have three stages with more than 40 bands performing including Bon Giovi, a Bon Jovi tribute act. Other attractions will include a children’s zone, workshops, hot tubs and food and drink stalls.

Camping is available for £10 per pitch. Luxury tipis and boutique tents are available for hire.

Early bird weekend tickets cost £25 for adults, £15 for 16- to 17-year-olds and £12 for teenagers (12- to 15-year-olds) and are available from Watlington post office or by visiting www.beaconfestival.net
