A HENLEY charity that provides respite care for severely disabled children has appointed a new manager.
Keith Manning, 45, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Chiltern Centre, off Greys Road.
He takes over from Marian Lee, who will supervise him in her new role as director of services.
Mr Manning has been working with children for more than a decade. He previously managed a home in Reading for youngsters with learning difficulties and behavioural problems for seven years.
Mr Manning, who is married with two children and lives in Basingstoke, said he was looking forward to a new challenge. He said: “Meeting the young people was a very humbling and touching experience.
