Colleagues limber up for Wolfpack relay

TWELVE staff from a police rehabilitation centre in Goring are to run across Britain for charity.

The team, who work at Flint House off Reading Road, hope to complete the 160-mile Wolfpack Running relay in 24 hours.

Physiotherapist Lucy Lougher, 29, of Upton Close in Henley, came up with the idea last year and invited her colleagues to join her.

Her teammates include fellow physiotherapist David Jackson, 34, and rehabilitation therapist Chris Roberts, 26, both from Benson. Also taking part are housekeeper Emma Williamson, 24, of Woodcote, and chef Chris Purnell, 23, of Goring.

The team will set off from Twickenham Stadium next Friday night and arrive at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff the following evening. Their route passes through Henley before heading west along public footpaths to Peppard and then Woodcote before joining the Ridgeway at Goring.
