Mother to get muddy in cancer charity run

A MOTHER from Woodcote has entered two running challenges to raise money for cancer charities.

Cheryl King, 35, of West Chiltern, will compete in Cancer Research UK’s Pretty Muddy race in Reading tomorrow (Saturday).

The event is a 5km obstacle course in which entrants crawl through plastic tunnels and mud baths, under ropes and over hay bales.

She will then take part in the Rainbow Run, also in Reading, on June 22 in aid of Helen and Douglas House.

This is a 3km race in which spectators shower runners with multi-coloured paint.
