A Henley freemasons lodge has raised £1,000 for the Chiltern Centre for disabled children.
Temple Island lodge presented the centre in Greys Road with a cheque before the charity’s annual meeting on Tuesday.
The money was raised mainly through individual donations from lodge members, as well as fundraising activities including a Christmas ladies’ evening with the Henley Singers and raffle nights.
Paul Barrett, chairman of the Chiltern Centre, said: “We are just extremely grateful to the lodge for their generosity and support and to the Henley Singers as well.
“It’s another example of the fantastic support we get from the Henley community as a whole.
