ORGANISERS of this year’s Henley Outdoor Playscheme say it’s set to be one of the best yet in its 30-year history.
The week-long scheme is for children in school years one to seven and aims to keep them stimulated during a week of the summer holidays.
It is run voluntarily by a group of Henley parents, helped by paid play helpers and buddies who help children settle in and choose what they want to do.
Vanessa Lakatos, owner of the Deep clothing store in Reading Road and chairwoman of HOPS, said: “It’s going to be a brilliant year. We have so many fun things for the children to do, they will be spoilt for choice.
“We have Steph Maxwell from Dancing Divas and Dudes doing dancing sessions, yoga classes, zorbing, loads of arts and crafts and the always popular beauty salon.
