That’s freezing! Boss takes the Ice Bucket Challenge

THE owner of Henley’s Naughty Mutt Nice dog grooming parlour was showered with two buckets of iced water for charity.

Aspen Weatherburn was taking part in the worldwide Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money for research into motor neurone disease.

Participants record a video of themselves being doused in icy water and then nominate others to do the same before putting the footage online. They must give £10 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association or pay a larger forfeit if they back out.

Ms Weatherburn, 36, was nominated by her childhood friend Michaela Caudren, from High Wycombe. She nominated Georgia Chapman, Anne Harding and Laura Carr, who work at the Reading Road salon, her brother Will Hetherington and friends Alex Miller, Nick Brakspear, Tim Lamb and Angela Dench.

The water was tipped over her by Miss Chapman and James Miller, the owner of neighbouring shop Henley Cycles.
