Children’s toy stall

CHILDREN set up a toy stall in Sonning Common to raise money for charity.

Cara Whitmee came up with the idea as a way of clearing out unwanted toys from her home in Kidmore Lane.

Her children, Felicity, 12, and Henry Neal, 10, and stepchildren Tom, 12, and Millie Whitmee, nine, manned the stall outside the village hall in Wood Lane for seven hours.

They raised £128.06, which will be split between Cancer Research UK and Blue Cross.

Mrs Whitmee said: “I suggested that they do a charity stall and they chose their own charities and designed the posters themselves.
