Dental team in 100ft abseil for hospital

A TEAM from a Benson dental practice is to abseil 100ft from a hospital building to raise money for charity.

Staff at Imogen Dental in High Street will descend from the top of the women’s centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on Sunday.

They will be joined by colleagues from another branch in Kingsclere to make a total of 13 raising money for the hospital’s Fund for Children.

Owner and director Dr Neel Tank said: “The whole team is very excited. I’m very proud of them — they are very enthusiastic and are looking forward to it.”

He said he wanted to support the hospital where his daughter Imogen was born in 2011 and his wife Laura spent two weeks. Dr Tank said: “We feel strongly about giving to the hospital for all the hard work they do.”
