Ride for disabled

CYCLISTS are being encouraged to sign up for a charity mountain bike challenge in Henley.

Pursuing Independent Paths will stage the event on Saturday, October 11, starting and finishing at Lovibonds Brewery, off Greys Road car park.

The annual event — now its third year — is open to teams, pairs and individual riders of all abilities who will ride through the Chilterns and along the Thames.

PIP supports adults with learning disabilities to achieve their potential.

Katherine Gale, the charity’s service co-ordinator, said: “A sporting event is a natural fit for our organisation as promoting health and well- being for all our students is one of our key priorities.”
