Coffee and cake for a good cause

HUNDREDS of people enjoyed coffee and cake to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, held last Friday, is the charity’s largest fund-raiser and takes place every year.

Clubs, schools, community groups and businesses hosted events and asked for donations from guests.

A coffee morning held at St Mary’s School in St Andrew’s Road, Henley, raised £260 with more than half the proceeds coming from the sale of second-hand uniforms.

The café at the River and Rowing Museum raised £210 from the sale of coffee and cakes to visitors.
