Dental practice staff in 100ft charity abseil

STAFF from a Benson dental practice abseiled 100ft from a hospital for charity.

Each member of the team from Imogen Dental in High Street descended from the top of the women’s centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

They were led by owner Dr Neel Tank and joined by colleagues from the Kingsclere branch. They raised more than £2,300 for the hospital’s Fund for Children with donations still coming in.

Dr Tank, whose wife Laura spent two weeks at the hospital after giving birth to their daughter Imogen in 2011, said: “I am extremely proud of everyone who took part. The atmosphere was one of great excitement, tinged with nervous anticipation, and on completion turned into a huge sense of achievement.”
