Law firm backs charity

CHILDREN’S charity Mohawk has teamed up with a firm of solicitors.

Blandy & Blandy will raise money for the day centre in Highfield Lane, Crazies Hill, after agreeing to support it for the next two years.

Centre manager Luke Jansen said: “We are absolutely delighted to have the support of Blandy & Blandy and it’s lovely when local companies help local charities.”

Mohawk has been going since 2001 and caters for children with special needs. It has a pool, outside play area and a state-of-the-art sensation room.

Blandy & Blandy will also be supporting another children’s charity, Younger People with Dementia. Rosie Brass, a solicitor with the firm, said: “It was a real eye-opener to get the chance to see what both charities do on a daily basis.
