MEMBERS of the Henley-based Hofmann’s racing team and volunteers from the Skidz charity will be holding a collection in the town centre on Wednesday, February 13.

A Spice Group C Le Mans car, driven by team boss Chris Randall, will also be on show in Market Place.

The team, which is based in Newtown Road, is supporting the High Wycombe charity, which develops motor skills in young people who may have difficulties in traditional educational settings.

The team will also be collecting at race meetings in Europe and Dubai during the forthcoming season. Service manager Alastair Sharpe said: “We hope to collect thousands at each one.”
