GOOD causes in South Oxfordshire received more than £800,000 of National Lottery funding last year.

There were 21 grants made to arts, sport and heritage projects as well as community groups, including £43,000 to Outdoor Culture to develop the Aston Rowant Nature Reserve and £25,500 to the River and Rowing Museum in Henley for a special project celebrating the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
