A VINTAGE tea party in aid of Dementia UK will take place at the Watlington and District Care Home today (Friday) from 2pm to 5pm.
The Sanctuary Care home in Hill Road is holding the event as part of the charity’s Time For A Cuppa campaign.
There will be a tea dance and music by singer Janet Morgan. People will be asked to donate £1.50 for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Liza Simon, activities leader at the home, said: “Many of our residents have dementia so this is a charity which is extremely close to all our hearts. The residents get into the spirit of the day.”
Last year, the home’s tea party raised £61.
