THREE firms of solicitors in the Henley area have raised £3,615 for charity by drawing up wills for free.

THREE firms of solicitors in the Henley area have raised £3,615 for charity by drawing up wills for free.

They took part in the Will Aid scheme in which solicitors waive their fees and ask clients to donate to good causes instead.

The Head Partnership in Bell Street, Henley, raised £225 and Cooper Solicitors in West Street, Henley, raised £2,140. Stefanie O’Brien, of Shirburn Street, Watlington, raised £1,250.

The proceeds were donated to nine charities, including the British Red Cross, the NSPCC and Age UK.
