MORE than £1,350 was raised at an annual golf day for Camp Mohawk.

MORE than £1,350 was raised at an annual golf day for Camp Mohawk.

Nine teams took part in the event at Hennerton Golf Club.

Organiser Keith Douglas said: “Although team numbers were a little down this year, we were blessed with hot weather and a wonderful time was had by all.”

The final scores were Team Fry 48; Team Mohawk 51; Team Woodmansee 52; Twyford Tornadoes 52; Team McArthur 54; Team Dunster 57; Team VGL 57; Team Wheeler 59 and Team Middleton 61.

Nearest the pin was Nick Athawes, the longest drive was by Phil Ochtman and Alan Thompson won the putting competition.

Next year’s event will be held on June 27.

Camp Mohawk is a day centre in Crazies Hill for children on the autistic spectrum.
