ABOUT 200 people attended a jungle-themed tea party in Wargrave on Saturday.
The fund-raiser, held at the Piggott School, was organised by the Henley, Twyford and district branch of the NCT.
Activities included face-painting, crafts and baby massage.
There were also animal handling workshops, a fancy dress competition and go-karting in the playground. About £750 was raised.
Claire Pogue, event co-ordinator, said: “We are very pleased because the turnout and the amount raised were much more than we were expecting.
“We are now hoping to make it an annual event.”
