A TOTAL of £3,200 was raised by the car boot sale held by the Henley branch of the RNLI on Sunday.

A total of 200 traders and 400 cars turned up for the event, which was held at Henley Rugby Club and the adjoining Borlase field.

Branch chairman Norman Daniells, 62, of Blandy Road, Henley said: “It went off very well with no problems and was a nice day.

“I would like to give a mention to the many volunteers who came along and helped us on the day. They gave up their time and without them we couldn’t have done it.”
