Hair salon staff prepare for charity cycle

STAFF at a Henley hair salon are to take part in charity cycle ride.

The team from Marc Antoni in Hart Street hope to cycle between 26 and 100 miles at the London Bikeathon on September 15 to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Owner Bruno Marc Giamattei said he wanted to support the charity because his brother was diagnosed with cancer in January.

Staff have been raising money by selling tickets for a raffle with prizes including a Kindle, a pair of hair straighteners, a cut and blow-dry and a hair care hamper.

There is also a collection box on the reception desk at the salon.
