Biscuits and jeans

PUPILS at Crazies Hill Primary School raised £100 on Jeans for Genes Day.

PUPILS at Crazies Hill Primary School raised £100 on Jeans for Genes Day.

Children paid to go to school in their jeans and took part in the “biscuit challenge” in which they had to construct a helicopter-like contraption that allowed a biscuit to drop to the ground without breaking.

Headteacher Eileen Holmes said: “Some biscuits broke at the first drop but many more succeeded in being dropped from the height of the ceiling without so much as a crack. Well done to everybody for such a successful event.”

Jeans for Genes is an annual fund-raising event in aid of children with genetic disabilities.
